The rules for using NationalReview, registering an account, submitting a business listing, and publishing reviews.
Use NationalReview lawfully and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, and you must be old enough to hold an account under the law that applies where you live.
Do not attempt to scrape, overload, or automate access to the site; to interfere with other users; or to submit content you do not have the right to publish.
You can create an account with a verified email address, a Google account, or a connected Facebook identity. You are responsible for keeping access to that email or identity secure, and for reporting suspected unauthorised access promptly. One person or business should not maintain duplicate accounts to circumvent moderation.
You may delete your account at any time from Account settings → Delete account. Deleting it deactivates the account immediately, signs you out everywhere, and reserves your email address during a 30-day recycle window, after which the account and its personal data are permanently erased. Reviews you published remain visible but are no longer attributed to you, and invoices and payment records are retained for accounting and tax purposes. The Privacy Policy describes this in full, including how to ask us to restore an account during the window.
Administrator accounts cannot be deleted from Account settings; they are removed by another administrator.
We may suspend, restrict, or remove an account, and remove content, where we reasonably believe it is used for spam, fake reviews, fraud, harassment, unlawful activity, or repeated breach of these terms — or where we are legally required to act. Where it is practicable we will tell you why.
Business owners must register and complete ownership verification before accessing package purchasing tools. Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, website, contact details, connected social links, and information submitted for verification.
Listings may be submitted or claimed through the site. We ask for proof of ownership — typically a screenshot of the business's Facebook profile — and may ask for further information before approving a submission. By submitting, you confirm the listing is for a real business and that you are authorised to act for it.
Administrators review submissions and may request changes, approve, or reject a listing. A rejection notice explains the reason and provides a link to resubmit with corrected or fresher proof. If we remove a listing, any reviews attached to it are removed with it.
Proof-of-ownership uploads on rejected listings are deleted automatically 90 days after rejection; the listing request itself is kept so you can resubmit. See the Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
Paid packages are offered only through the verified owner dashboard. Package features, quotas, duration, and price shown at purchase apply to that subscription period. Activation may require payment verification. Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated at purchase, unused quota does not create a cash balance or entitlement to a refund.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and be written by the person who had that experience. We may moderate, hide, or remove content that is abusive, deceptive, unlawful, or violates these terms.
Do not offer, request, or accept payment or any other incentive in exchange for a review, and do not post a review of your own business or a competitor's business in bad faith. See the Review Policy and Community Guidelines for how reviews are handled in practice.
Authorized NationalReview staff may publish clearly labelled official platform reviews based on documented sources. Supporting evidence is retained privately for audit and dispute handling. Official platform reviews do not consume a business owner's customer-review package quota.
We may use non-blocking automated signals to identify rapid, repeated, coordinated, or technically suspicious submissions for moderation. Published review changes may be retained in an internal revision history to prevent silent alteration and support disputes. Moderation records are kept for 24 months, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You keep ownership of the reviews, photos, and information you submit. By publishing them you grant NationalReview a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, format, resize, and distribute that content on the platform and in previews of it, for as long as it is published. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies already held in backups or required for legal and accounting records.
Links to websites, social networks, and Google Maps are provided for convenience. NationalReview does not control third-party services or their content.
NationalReview accounts use a verified email address, and may be created or connected through Google or Facebook sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to the account you sign in with and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
NationalReview is provided on an “as is” basis. We aim to keep the service available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and content published by users is their own. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
