You can delete your NationalReview account and its personal data yourself, from inside the app. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what to do if you do not have an account.
Prefer a direct link?
Signing in is required, because deletion has to be tied to the account you are asking us to erase. If you can no longer sign in, use the contact route in the next section.
Contact support before the purge date and we can restore the account. After that it cannot be undone.
Account record, email address, name, contact number, avatar and uploads, connected Google and Facebook identity data, notifications, team memberships, and pending business ownership applications.
For data not tied to an account — for example a business listing you submitted, a contact message, or a review you posted without signing in — email us:
Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request
Tell us what you want removed and enough detail for us to find it (the listing name, or a link to the review). Send the request from an address we can reply to so we can confirm the outcome.
As with account deletion, proof-of-ownership uploads attached to rejected listings are deleted automatically 90 days after rejection, whether or not you ask.
In-app deletion needs no extra verification — being signed in is the proof. For emailed requests about data not tied to an account, we may ask for information that lets us confirm you are the person who submitted it. Verification details are used only to confirm identity and eligibility, and are never used for advertising, sale, or unrelated profiling.
NationalReview uses authenticated access, server-side validation, role-based permissions, restricted administrative access, and operational security controls to protect account information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we continually limit access and use data only for necessary platform operations.
In-app deletion is immediate: the account is deactivated the moment you confirm, and the permanent erase runs automatically 30 days later. Emailed requests about data not tied to an account are normally completed within 30 days of verification, and we will confirm when the work is done.
The Privacy Policy lists our full retention schedule. The Terms of Service cover accounts and termination.
