Review and Platform Content Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This policy explains how reviews are sourced, labelled, moderated, audited, and challenged.

Customer reviews

Customers and account holders may review any business based on a genuine experience. We do not impose a business-count limit, but automated systems may flag rapid, duplicated, coordinated, or technically suspicious activity for human moderation.

Official platform reviews

Reviews labelled “Official platform review” or “Verified Platform” are published by authorized NationalReview staff. Before publication, staff must record a source category and a private evidence note. Evidence may include direct experience, documents, public records, or information supplied by a business. Sensitive evidence is restricted to authorized personnel and is not displayed publicly.

Independence and quotas

Official platform reviews publish independently of a business owner's package quota and do not consume that quota. Only approved customer reviews count toward customer-review quota usage.

Editing and audit history

Changes to published review ratings, titles, content, media, visibility, or status are recorded in an internal revision history with the prior and replacement values, time, and responsible account where available.

Moderation and disputes

We may investigate, label, hide, reject, or remove content that violates this policy or applicable law. Business owners and reviewers may submit disputes. Internal evidence and audit records may be considered during review but are disclosed only where lawful and appropriate.

How long moderation records are kept, and how to delete your account, is set out in the Privacy Policy and the Data Deletion Instructions. The rules for using the platform are in the Terms of Service, and behaviour in reviews and replies is covered by the Community Guidelines.
